ABOUT BARK & BEG

Bark & Beg offers custom made, freshly baked dog treats with all natural human grade ingredients, and no artificial colors, chemicals, salt, preservatives, or by-products.

The company was founded in 2009 by Jeff and Amy Luce, who grew up around dogs, giving them a comprehensive understanding of the happiness dogs bring to people's lives.

The Luces share, "As adults, we realized our dogs require nutritious food and all natural treats so that they can live longer and healthier lives with us."

That philosophy helped spur an interest in baking healthy, natural dog treats. A passion for biscotti sealed the deal, when the Luces' daughter, Kirsten, made biscotti for the family's beagles. The family shared their fresh biscotti with friends, who loved them and requested more. This finalized the decision to take this on as a professional endeavor, and Bark & Beg was born.

Along with everyday goodies for dogs, Bark & Beg also creates items for special occasions and holidays, including birthday cakes and wedding cakes, holiday cookies, gift baskets and more.

Bark & Beg cares about your dog's health as well as taste. That's why they use safflower oil in their treats–this, they share, "helps to control shedding, is great for the skin, and is an all natural preservative."
