ABOUT AMERICAN BOSTON TERRIER RESCUE (ABTR)
American Boston Terrier Rescue (ABTR) is a volunteer, nonprofit organization based in North Texas. They serve a large portion of Texas, as well as Louisiana and parts of Oklahoma and Arkansas.
This organization does not operate a shelter. Instead, they rely on loving individuals willing to foster homeless Bostons until ABTR can find permanent homes.
Every Boston under ABTR's care is examined by a vet, heartworm checked and spayed / neutered. ABTR also gauges dogs' personalities to try to ensure they are matched with the right home.
American Boston Terrier Rescue does not discriminate due to age or health when they take in Bostons. (However, they do not take dogs who exhibit human aggression.)
Because ABTR does not have a shelter, they do not have visiting hours. Contact American Boston Terrier Rescue for more information on adopting a Boston Terrier.
ABTR's fundraising director founded Bean Dogs Cafe, an online "doggie boutique" that raises funds for rescue, through specific programs and donation minimums.
