ABOUT PETITE PAWS RESCUE ANGELS, INC.
Founded in 2004, Petite Paws Rescue Angels is a 501(c)3 non-profit, all volunteer organization focusing on the rescue, foster and placement of Yorkshire Terriers and Yorkie mixes.
Petite Paws Rescue Angels' mission is as follows:
- To promote education about the importance of spay and neuter
- To prevent cruelty and abuse of any companion animal especially Yorkshire Terriers
- To change laws that allow commercial abuse of Yorkshire Terriers and other companion animals
- To rescue, rehabilitate and rehome toy dogs especially Yorkshire Terriers
- To raise funds to promote all of the above
Petite Paws Rescue Angels does not run a shelter facility. They rely on foster homes for dogs under their care, until permanent homes are found. Because of their foster-based approach, they are always in need of qualified volunteers and foster homes throughout Indiana, Western Ohio, Eastern Illinois, Southern Michigan and Northern Kentucky.
In addition, Petite Paws Rescue Angels holds regular adoption events at festivals, pet care centers, Indiana Petsmart locations and other venues.
